Interspeech 2026 Call for Papers

Interspeech is the world’s largest and most comprehensive conference on the science and technology of spoken language processing. The conference emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches addressing all aspects of speech science and technology. The theme of Interspeech 2026 is “Speaking Together”, highlighting the fundamental role of speech in enabling human communication, and exploring how speech technologies can bring people and communities closer across languages, cultures, and modalities.

Interspeech 2026 seeks original and innovative papers covering all aspects of speech science and technology, including (but not limited to):

  • Spoken Language Generation
  • Analysis of Conversation
  • Spoken Language Translation, Information Retrieval, Summarization
  • Speech and Audio Signal Analysis
  • Speech and Language Processing for Health
  • Speech Synthesis
  • Paralinguistics in Speech and Language
  • Spoken Dialogue and Conversational AI Systems
  • Speaker and Language Identification
  • Resources and Evaluation
  • Phonetics, Phonology, and Prosody
  • Automatic Speech Recognition
  • Speech, Voice, and Hearing Disorders
  • Speech Coding and Enhancement
  • Technologies and Systems for New Applications
  • Beyond traditional speech topics
  • Generative AI for Speech and Language Processing

In addition to the standard 4-page paper format, Interspeech 2026 introduces the Long Paper track, designed for extended, high-impact contributions that provide substantial advances in speech science and technology. Paper submission deadline: 25 February 2026.
